Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults adapted for Children and Teens is an open process of spiritual formation for children and teenagers interested in experiencing the beautiful Catholic faith tradition. We want our candidates to know how being a part of something bigger affects our daily life & all that we do! It is important for children and teens to learn who God is and why He loves us.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults adapted for Children and Teens is a two-year (2) process for children and teens ages seven (7) to seventeen (17). This program is for children and teens who were not baptized before the age of seven and those coming from another faith community and seeking baptism and initiation into the Catholic Church.
This process will prepare young people and their families to celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Before beginning this preparation, children and teens should be enrolled in the parish Religious Education program.
