With faith in the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ, we inform you of the death of Reverend Joseph Vincent Moniz who went home to the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2024. He was 83 years old.
Fr. Joseph was ordained a priest on May 10, 1964, for the Diocese of Goa, India, and he was incardinated for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on November 6, 1974. While serving as a priest in the Archdiocese, these were his assignments:
Resident, American Martyrs Church, Manhattan Beach
Associate Pastor, St. Raymond Church, Downey
Associate Pastor, St. Rose of Lima Church, Simi Valley
Associate Pastor, St. Catherine of Siena Church, Reseda
Team Ministry Administrator, St. Joseph Church, Hawthorne
Pastor, Pastor Emeritus, , St. Philip the Apostle Church, Pasadena
Services are as follows:
